The Lodge at Koele, set in the central highlands of the
island of Lana'i, is one of Hawaii's rare inland hotels.
The 102-room Lodge, reminiscent of a fine
country estate, features an upcountry Hawaiian setting with an extensive
collection of Pacific art, as well as a Japanese hillside garden and
Hawaiian fruit gardens. The 88 guest rooms and 14 suites at the Lodge at
Koele offer uncompromising comfort with hand-carved four-poster beds,
imported French fabrics, ceiling fans, spacious balconies which overlook
pastoral countryside and verdant gardens surrounding the resort.

Guests
may dine in the award-winning Formal Dining Room complete with
fireplace, as well as enjoy all-day dining in the casual Terrace
Restaurant, offering views of the hillside gardens. Also, the Clubhouse
at the Experience at Koele is open for daily dining and for dinner on
weekends. The Experience at Koele, the hotel's golf course, is an 18
hole championship course designed by professional golfer Greg Norman and
architect Ted Robinson. Set in a dramatic mountain setting against a
backdrop of forested green hills and steep valley gorges, the Experience
has been ranked as the best golf resort by Conde Nast Traveler's annual
