The Dining Room
Voted #1 in the world for "Top Authentic Local Cuisine" by
readers of Gourmet magazine, The Dining Room features modern French cuisine by
Chef Sylvain Portay. The intimate, candlelit atmosphere complements the
season's freshest produce and one of the most extensive wine lists in the
country. Open for dinner only, Monday through Saturday. Reservations are
suggested.
The Terrace
Showcasing contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, The Terrace was voted one of
the top 20 restaurants in San Francisco and Napa Valley by readers of Gourmet
and the number one Mediteranean restaurant in San Francisco in the 1999 Zagat
Survey. Weather permitting, seating in the flower-filled courtyard is
available. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as Sunday Jazz
Brunch. Reservations are recommended.
The Ritz-Carlton Bar
The perfect setting for evening cocktails, The Ritz-Carlton Bar offers one
of the largest collections of single malt scotches in the U.S. representing
over 100 distilleries. Recently renovated to include hardwood floors and
plantation shutters, The Ritz-Carlton Bar features five-star creations by
Pastry Chef Michel Willaume. The prix-fixe dessert menu features one, two and
three courses of fruit, chocolate and soup desserts paired with champagne
and/or wine for pre- and post-theater temptations.
The Lobby Lounge
Start your day with coffee and pastries in The Lobby Lounge, an elegant
location overlooking the Financial District and garden courtyard. Afternoon
Tea is served beginning at 2:30 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. Saturday and
Sunday. Cocktails are offered throughout the day. Made-to-order sushi is
offered Monday through Saturday evenings beginning at 5:30 p.m.
